Celebrations abound at Balliol College in May; and we were delighted to have catered the Ball for 2015. Students enjoyed a range of food across the evening, alongside one or two alcoholic beverages (!) and some fabulous entertainment all carefully arranged by the Student Ball Committee.
Clifford Brown Catering were the main food suppliers for the ball again this year, and treated some 1000 guests and staff to various stalls including pizza, paella and a hog roast. Pudding included Pimm's jelly and New Forest ice cream (with sprinkles of course!). The evening was a huge success all round.
The committee arranged an enormous variety of fabulous entertainment; incredible home grown talent from DJ Walt Frisbee, to jazz band the Oxford Alternotives, to the hilarious Oxford Revue.
A string quartet accompanied a champagne reception while the Monte Carlo Casino and giant Scalectrix Grand Prix shall raised the stakes of the ball.
Show girls, pianists and live music kept the night swinging. The incredible acts were then followed by a silent disco that kept the party going through to the early hours.
All of this plus a chill-out zone complete with ball pit, giant garden games, photobooth and maze meant that the students had a fabulous evening with gorgeous food.
